Your account and your information.
We store your email, a one-way password hash, profile details, posts, guides, reactions, notification preferences, and messages so the community can work.
Public and private information
Published forum posts, guides, usernames, profile descriptions, vehicle details, and selected and administrator-assigned flairs are public. Your email address is not shown on your public profile. Direct messages are available to conversation participants in the site interface. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted; authorized server operators can access stored data, and reported messages can be reviewed by moderators.
Cookies and security
We use essential cookies for login sessions and form security. Login attempts and IP addresses may be retained to prevent abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile helps verify account requests and may process browser and device signals to detect automated abuse. We validate its response on our server. No advertising trackers are included.
Moderation records
We retain restriction reasons, end dates, staff decisions and private staff notes to document moderation. The affected member can see their reason and status; private notes are restricted to moderation staff. A member’s latest observed IP address is stored for abuse investigations. IP ban records and moderation history remain in the audit record after restrictions expire.
You choose which community notifications arrive by email. Account activation and password-recovery emails are necessary account messages.
Drafts, bookmarks and reading progress
Autosaved drafts and bookmark notes are private to your account in the site interface. Drafts expire after 30 days without changes. Reading positions expire after one year without updates. Authorized server operators can access stored data. A draft is not a published post.
Edits and deletion
Visible posts show when they were edited and let readers view previous versions. Deleting your post hides its body, attachments and edit history from community readers; other members’ replies remain. Content and audit records remain available to authorized operators for moderation and recovery.
Retention and backups
Content and edit history are retained to preserve community knowledge. Backup copies may remain after content is hidden or an account is closed. Backup retention and operator contact details will be finalized before public registration opens.
Requests
Before public launch, the operator will publish a contact address for account, privacy, and deletion requests here.
