Compatibility and version
The author identifies this attachment as v2 for Atlas 2026.2. It was developed for VA; VB is explicitly described as untested. A later user reports getting this version running, but the thread does not establish compatibility with every vehicle/ROM.
Controls and limitations
With the feature installed and the car warm, the author describes enabling rear defrost and briefly blipping the throttle to activate it; disabling rear defrost turns it off. It performs best with AC off because AC-on operation can stutter. The author says not to leave it running as the normal idle continuously.
Rear defrost is also a real vehicle control. If that input conflicts with normal defrost use or another custom feature, the trigger needs remapping; the thread does not provide a universal remap. Verify the imported temperature/RPM conditions before enabling.
